CD Various Artists (sorti en 2011) sur le label Shack Rouser qui est la version country du label Rhythm Bomb. Compilation qui permet de re-découvrir 4 artistes actuels :
- Lucky TUBB and the New Texas Troubadours qui est à l’affiche du festival d’Attignat ; Né à Fort Worth au Texas, petit neveu d’Ernest TUBB, ses albums sont dans un style hillbilly , flirtant quelques fois avec le rockabilly…
- Jason Lee WILSON : lui aussi trempe ses racines dans la country étant un cousin éloigné du grand Marvin RAINWATER… sa musique est un mélange subtil de rockabilly ,de country traditionnelle et de gospel.
- Les Red Hot Poker Dots : groupe fondé en 1996 à Melbourne ( en Australie), puis le trio s’est établi à Chapel Hill ( Caroline du Nord).
- le Bob Ryan Roadshow : depuis 20 ans Bob RYAN joue et vit à Nashville… avec sa remarquable voix grave il nous délivre un mélange de Honky Tonk/Western-swing/rockabilly
CD Various Artists released in 2011 on the label Shack Rouser which is the country version of the label Rhythm Bomb. Compilation which allows to rediscover 4 current artists:
- Lucky TUBB and the New Texas Troubadours who performs in the festival of Attignat; Born in Fort Worth in Texas, small nephew of Ernest TUBB, his albums are in a hillbilly style, flirting several times with the rockabilly.
- Jason Lee WILSON: also he dips his roots into the country being a distant cousin from the great Marvin RAINWATER… his music is a subtle mix of rockabilly, and traditional country and gospel.
- Red Hot Poker Dots: group based in
- The Bob Ryan Roadshow: for 20 years Bob RYAN plays and lives to Nashville with his nice deep voice, he offers us a mix of Honky Tonk Tonk/Western-swing/rockabilly Western-swing.

The GYPSY WRANGLERS (CD auto-produit « Ain’t nobody Here but us « sorti en 2007). Un groupe de country qui puise aussi son inspiration dans la musique de Django Reinhardt ou dans le jazz et le tango. La qualité musicale est exceptionnelle (avec entre autre un superbe harmonica) notamment sur «Buon Giorno»

The GYPSY WRANGLERS (self-produced CD "Ain’t nobody Here but us" released in 2007). A group of country which also draws its inspiration from the music of Django Reinhardt or from the jazz and the tango. The musical quality is exceptional (with among others a superb harmonica) in particular "Buon Giorno".

The CAPITOLS (CD sorti en 2009) groupe australien avec notamment Martin CILIA à la guitare. Une superbe ambiance musicale et des musiciens exceptionnels…certains titres très swing/jump rappellent un peu le groupe américain Eight to the Bar. Mes titres préférés: Bang,Bang, Bedlam Station, Wondering Why, et Night Driver…
The CAPITOLS CD released in 2009 Australian group with in particular the guitarist Martin CILIA. A superb musical atmosphere and exceptional musicians. Some tracks are very swing/jump call back a little the American group Eight to the bar. My favorite tracks : “Bang, Bang”, “Bedlam Station”, “Wondering Why” and “Night Driver”…
La chanteuse country BRIANIE( CD de 2009) : chanteuse US avec une superbe voix… c’est une découverte grace à Country Hot disc. L’ambiance du CD est très country rock (mon titre préféré, le superbe « Western Women » un titre très western swing).
The country singer BRIANIE (CD released in 2009): US singer with a superb voice; it is a discovery, thanks to Country Hot disc. The atmosphere of the CD is very country rock (my favorite track, the superb "Western Women" a very western swing track).

-Lucky and the Légends ( CD auto-produit en 2011) avec essentiellement des reprises de titres de Bill Haley et d’Elvis … de la musique très dansante et de bons musiciens…
2 French groups of this month:
-Dju and the Moonbeams , groupe basé au Creusot, emmené par les frères Armilies, avec un répertoire de classiques du rock et de la country. Le CD de ce mois-ci est un mini album de 5 titres enregistrés live à la 6éme nuit des Pionniers du Rock à Arleuf en 2009… c’est une exclusivité Memphis Tennessee. Il n’existe qu’un seul CD officiel de ce groupe, c’est le « Rockin in the Moonlight» auto-produit sur le label «le bocal music»…
