Hommage à l’italien George McAntony décédé d’une crise cardiaque en tournée le 08 juillet 2011. A cette occasion, rediffusion de son dernier CD « Dust off of my boots».

Vous avez toutes et tous énormément apprécié en juin 2011 le premier CD du chanteur compositeur allemand Johnny TROUBLE. On continue la découverte du Johnny TROUBLE trio (musiciens d’exception) avec un autre CD : « The Rhythm of the Railroad track » sorti en 2008 avec moins de compositions personnelles (15 titres dont 9 reprises).

You have all enormously appreciated in June, 2011 the first CD of the German singer/ composer Johnny Trouble. We continue to discover the Johnny Trouble trio (exceptional musicians) with an another CD: "The Rhythm of the Railroad track" taken out in 2008 with less compositions, 15 titles among which 9 covers.

Côté Rock’n’Roll superbe groupe italien FRENCH AND THE FIREBIRDS , 4 musiciens emmenés par le chanteur Francesco Moro. C’est un groupe formé en décembre 1998 spécialisé dans les reprises de rock des années 50, le groupe a assuré la première partie des Jets et des Stargazzers entre autres grands noms du rock… CD sorti en 2000 avec des superbes reprises « Stupid Cupid », « If I Ain’t got you » et Rockabilly rebel ».

Side Rock'n'Roll, superb Italian group French and the FireBirds, 4 musicians taken by the singer Francesco Moro. It is a group born in December, 1988, specialized in the covers of 50s rock. The group made the first part of the Jets and the Stargazzers among others great names of the rock, CD taken out in 2000 with superb covers "Stupid Cupid", "If I Ain't got you" and “Rockabilly rebel".

Le groupe suisse The SUN SKIPPERS (leur 3ème CD « Rockabilly Town » est sorti en 2010) : 1 trio (basse, batterie, guitare) qui reprend principalement des classiques du catalogue Sun Records de Memphis. Leur 3^ème CD est sorti à l’occasion du 60^ème anniversaire de la création du label mythique de Memphis.

The Swiss group The SUN SKIPPERS (their 3rd CD "Rockabilly Town" taken out in 2010) : 1 trio (bass, battery, guitar) who play mainly classics of the Sun Records catalog of Memphis. Their 3rd CD taken out at the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the creation of the legendary label of Memphis.

Le groupe américain the COWLICKS (la vache lèche) : CD sorti récemment sur le petit label Tres Payasos : juste de la country aux belles guitares twangy et émotion douce pour danser et taper du pied (une découverte Memphis Tennessee tout spécialement pour vous).

Peu connu et rarement diffusé à la radio, c’est une exclusivité Memphis Tennessee. (1^er CD « Red Hot and Rockin’ » et 2^ème CD paru en 2008 « Keep on Rockin’ que des reprises de classiques du rock.

Wiley J SMITH (né à Saltville en Virginie) est le fils du légendaire Hobart Smith (chanteur de country invité à se produire pour la 1^ère fois devant le président Franklin D. ROOSEVELT en 1936). La photo sur la pochette du CD représente Wiley (8 ans) avec son père sur les rails de la ligne de chemin de fer de Saltville. (CD sorti en 2006 très country/bluegrass).
